CHIC has an extensive range of Dynamic Purchasing Systems
(DPS) and have been managing these routes to market for our Members with
further competitions against the 8 CHIC service lines.
With the introduction of the Procurement Act 2023 which went
live in February 2025, the Act allowed contracting authorities to extend their
current DPS by 4 years from the go-live date of the Act (within 12 months of
the Procurement Act going live).
CHIC now has a mandate to create a rolling programme of
re-procurements to replace our DPS with new ‘Dynamic Markets’. These DPS
solutions currently have in excess of 1400 suppliers qualified. CHIC will have
an opportunity to develop and consider new Dynamic Markets that could benefit
our Members.
Advantages to using CHICs DPS:
- Contractors and suppliers can join the relevant category at any time.
- If leaseholder consultation is required for a project or programme, then the DPS still enables an efficient route to market.
- CHIC agrees with each member the level of engagement they require.
