CHIC is pleased to announce a significant leadership transition as founder and Chief Executive Officer, John Fisher, steps down after more than a decade of shaping the organisation’s vision and purpose. From the creation of a small collaborative procurement consortium in the Midlands, to the successful member owned organisation CHIC is today; John’s leadership has been instrumental in building an organisation recognised across the housing sector for its commitment to partnership, innovation and delivering lasting social value.
Throughout his tenure, John has remained focused on a simple but enduring principle: improving homes and communities for residents. Under his leadership, CHIC has grown into a trusted consortium for members and supply chain partners, developing a strong set of procurement and asset management services while remaining true to the values on which it was founded. As he steps aside, he leaves an organisation with a clear 5 year strategy to increase our members efficiency, strong foundations and a team ready to build on that success.
Taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer is Luke Hurd, who will lead CHIC into its next chapter. As previous Chief Operating Officer, Luke brings extensive knowledge of CHIC, its members and its purpose and is committed to continuing CHIC’s collaborative approach. “CHIC brings collaboration across a sector that so desperately needs more people to collaborate.”
