Decoration Works Framework

This four-year framework supports a wide range of works and services to residential properties and their communal areas, as well as to other building types. It covers cyclical and responsive repairs, void property works, decoration and finishing services and can also support newbuild and regeneration projects. As part of a long term strategic asset management approach, the framework helps landlords maintain the quality, condition and appearance of their homes in a planned, consistent and cost effective way. This reduces future maintenance pressures, prolongs the life of building components and supports well structured investment programmes. For tenants, regular decoration, repair and cleaning works improve the appearance of their homes and community spaces.

Suppliers appointed to the framework will carry out preparation, repair, painting, decorating and cleaning of internal and external surfaces as required by members. These services may be needed across a wide variety of settings, including occupied and unoccupied domestic properties, communal areas in residential blocks, specialist housing, commercial and public buildings.

The framework is available to all CHIC members and supports mixed portfolios of homes and buildings as part of their asset management programmes. It offers national coverage across the United Kingdom, ensuring members can access consistent, high quality services wherever their properties are located.
