The Mechanical & Electrical Framework is a key component of CHIC’s strategic asset management solutions, ensuring compliance, sustainability and efficiency for registered providers. By supporting proactive maintenance and renewable energy solutions, the framework helps members reduce carbon footprints and meet UK Government sustainability targets.
The framework is split into two different Lots as below:
Lot 1: Mechanical and Heating Systems

- Workstream 2 – Low Carbon Technologies Supply, Installation, Replacement & Servicing

Framework Lots
Workstream 1 – Central Heating Supply, Installation, Replacement & Servicing
Covering gas, oil and hot water central heating systems, including communal heating solutions. Suppliers on this workstream are accredited to a higher standard than most, including BAFE D301 for fire detection or BAFE SP203-1 Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems, ensuring the highest level of safety and compliance.
