CHIC is delighted to be launching a new framework for our members to procure contractors for replacement kitchens and bathrooms for both existing homes and newbuild schemes.
CHIC recognises that our members have a continuous responsibility to invest in their homes, including the replacement of kitchens and bathrooms on 20 and 30 year cycles. These significant investments require access to a range of suppliers and contractors to deliver rolling programmes of work. This Kitchens & Bathrooms Framework aims to support members in maintaining their customers homes by replacing components that are beyond their useful life, ensuring they meet prevailing standards.
Works called off from this framework will cover repair, maintenance, and/or supply and installation of kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, WCs and electrics.
The framework is split into two different lots:
Lot 1 – Kitchens:
Workstream 1: Kitchen Installation
Workstream 2: Kitchen Supply and Installation
Lot 2 – Bathrooms:
Workstream 1: Bathrooms Installation
Workstream 2: Bathrooms Supply and Installation
This initiative is part of CHIC’s comprehensive service suite for delivering long term asset management programmes, integrating with materials, capital and planned investment, decarbonisation and renewables and facilities management. It provides a practical solution for streamlining procurement and enhancing strategies for social housing landlords.
