Have you registered for this year’s CHIC Conference?

The CHIC Conference & Exhibition 2026 is now less than two months away, taking place on 3rd June 2026 at the Telford International Centre. This year’s event is once again CPD accredited, so delegates support their professional development whilst engaging in a full day of sector insight, discussion and networking.

Widely regarded as one of the key events in the social housing calendar, the conference brings together landlords, contractors, consultants and suppliers from across the UK housing sector. It continues to grow in scale, with 2026 set to be its most comprehensive yet, featuring an expanded exhibition space and an even broader programme of learning and engagement.

A central feature of the day is our mix of keynote sessions and interactive workshops, designed to bridge the gap between strategic policy and practical delivery. Delegates will have the opportunity to explore practical solutions to the sector’s most pressing challenges, while engaging directly with peers and industry experts throughout the event.

This year’s theme, “Joining the Dots,” underpins the entire programme, focusing on the importance of connecting regulation, strategic asset management and operational service delivery. The aim is to encourage more joined up thinking across the affordable housing sector and supply chain partners, as we navigate increasing pressures around safety, sustainability and service performance.

The agenda includes building safety and compliance, damp and mould remediation, procurement reform, digital transformation and data use, workforce development, decarbonisation and progress towards net zero and retrofit targets. Each session is designed to be practical, relevant and immediately applicable across the sector. Some of the speakers delivering this include:

  • Phil Shelton, Chief Executive, Housing AI
  • Alex Goodfellow, Chief Executive, Donaldson
  • Jenny Osbourne, Chief Executive, TPAS
  • Wayne Gethings, Chief Executive, Housing Plus Group
  • Kishore Rajendran, Enterprise Account Director, Microsoft
  • Lucy Mullineux, Partner, Baily Garner
  • Matthew Wilson, Partner (Housing Management), Clarke Wilmott
  • Joanne Scarlett, Head of Performance & Improvement, Riverside
  • Steve Porter, Director of Assets & Procurement, Wales & West Housing

Workshops are all chaired by journalist and broadcaster Mark Easton and housing journalist Vicky Spratt.

As ever, the event is supported by a range of sponsors from CHIC’s supply chain.

With demand for insight, collaboration and innovation across the housing sector continuing to rise, the conference offers a timely opportunity to come together, share best practice and shape the future of housing delivery. We look forward to seeing you there.
