It was great to be back in Liverpool for the Housing Community Summit, spending two busy days catching up with members, partners, and colleagues from across the housing sector.
For us, events like this are about more than being in the room. They give us an opportunity to hear directly from the people we work with and understand the challenges and opportunities landlords are facing.

CHIC’s Director of Partnerships and Communication, Kyle Smith, sat down with Ian Davies from emh group to discuss the value of stepping away from the day to day at sector events and turning what you learn into action.
Ian also reflected on emh’s experience of using CHIC frameworks, including the support we have provided for home condition surveys and asset strategy.
Partnering with the Healthy Homes Hub
We also caught up with our CEO, Luke Hurd and Jenny Danson, Founder & CEO of the Healthy Homes Hub to reflect on the first six months of our partnership. Jenny and Luke discuss what the collaboration has delivered so far and look ahead to what members can expect as the partnership develops.
Both conversations capture what we valued most about our time at the Summit – hearing different perspectives and sharing practical experience that can make a difference beyond the event itself.
