CHIC RESPONSE TO COVID-19

As the government recommends stricter measures in delaying the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we wanted to reassure you that the wellbeing of our members and employees is of upmost importance. We are closely monitoring and adhering to Government advice and doing everything we can to help, whilst still being fully committed to delivering a great service to our members.

We remain fully operational and able to support our members. We are continually seeking new ways to maintain the balance between safeguarding our members and employees and keeping business operations going as usual. The majority of our staff will be working remotely until further notice, still contactable on their usual email and mobile.

Our offices remain open, with the number of face-to-face meetings being reduced to only those that are essential. We have replaced this engagement with conference calls and virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams, where your CHIC representative can simply send you an invite to join. We have also postponed all non-essential events until we are confident that the health risks are significantly reduced.

CHIC as a responsible framework provider has engaged with all of our suppliers and contractors to understand what steps they are taking to manage through the current challenges. We will shortly be issuing a briefing note on this to our members.

The personal and economic impact of the current measures will no doubt have an effect on everything we do as a nation. If you feel that CHIC can help in anyway, we are more than happy to assist. We do not anticipate any significant disruption in our ability to support our members.
