Reallies partnership appoints 51 contractors to £163 million fire risk and mitigation framework

Reallies, the national partnership between Procure Plus, Efficiency North and the Central Housing Investment Consortium, has awarded contracts to 51 companies for its new Fire Risk and Mitigation Framework, one of the first of its kind available nationally.

The framework breaks down England and Wales into four regional lots and has an estimated demand pipeline total value of £163 million over its four year lifetime. The four lots cover Risk Assessments, Fire Precaution Works, and the installation and maintenance of Sprinkler, Detection and Alarm systems.

The framework has been designed in consultation with Greater Manchester Fire Safety Technical Group, a subgroup to the Greater Manchester High Rise Task Force, to ensure it provides users with maximum safety and compliance against regulations in light of the horrific Grenfell Tower tragedy last year.

Paul Tennant, Chair of the Reallies Partnership, said: “I’m very pleased that Re:allies is one of the first organisations offering a comprehensive fire risk and mitigation framework using a diverse range of small and large contractors.

“This is an critically important matter for the housing industry and we have worked with the Greater Manchester High Rise Task Force in its development and packaged the framework so that it is not subject to variations in pricing.”

The Reallies Partnership focuses on responding to the needs of its members and providing face-to-face account management to ensure its members are always getting the best efficiency and value possible for their projects.
